Alsana

Alsana is a nationally recognized eating disorder treatment provider offering a full continuum of care across multiple locations and virtual programs. Their website needed to communicate a large volume of critical information—while maintaining a sense of structure, calm, and emotional sensitivity. The challenge was to update the design to feel clearer, more modern, and easier to navigate without disrupting the depth of content required to support clients, families, and care teams.

Our design audit revealed that the site was functioning well from a content standpoint, but the visual system needed refinement. Layouts lacked clear hierarchy, and the brand’s core colors were being overused, making it difficult to visually prioritize content. There was an opportunity to expand the visual toolkit and build a more intentional experience—one that could support Alsana’s brand story while improving navigation, readability, and accessibility across all devices.

Our team designed a refreshed visual system that honors Alsana’s existing brand while creating more space for clarity and expression. We expanded the color palette by introducing new tones and shades, allowing us to use the primary brand color more selectively and meaningfully. This approach improved visual contrast and gave the site a more balanced, calming feel.

We restructured layouts using consistent visual hierarchy—leveraging white space, scale, and typography to guide the user’s eye and make complex information easier to process. Contemporary design elements were introduced to bring the site in line with modern UI standards while maintaining the warmth and professionalism essential to Alsana’s identity.

The result is a website that looks and feels more polished, trustworthy, and emotionally attuned—offering users a fresh, intuitive experience that aligns with the compassionate care Alsana is known for.
